Some people have been asking me about this stuff so I decided to gather all information in one single article on how to make your own portfolio, in a profesional and clean looking way. I hope it's useful, because these steps I myself take.

since fate, and receding office supplies, robbed me of blue mech pencil lead, i was forced to use the red ones to make this sketch. ^^
the character design for dante, as seen here, is of the traditional capcom style. i wanted to make a dynamic pose...and i came up with this. not to much action, but i think it can do. anyway, this is a kiriban for my 4444th viewer, ~flame-of-rebirth
still thinking on the cg technique i'll be using for this one. i like dante a lot. heheh. me thinks he is cool in devil may cry 1, but i didn't like his character design on the 2nd installment. don't know when i'll start inking and cgin this...maybe after my full workload is done....and sembreak... ^^

i also downloaded referrence pics, but i can't seem to find the pose i liked. it took me about 3 hours to finally come-up with this pose, the gun style is a trademark of hongkong action movies. i like those movies, so i thought of incorporating them to dante, coz this gun-handling looks cool! ...errr..to me that is.. ^^;

but i think dmc2 doesn't have as many weapons the 1st one had. only alastor, ifrit, and ebony & ivory... i think. ^^; i still haven't played the 2nd one either.

But you can beat him just keep at it.
I think I will get dmc2 when it becomes cheaper even though everyone says it's not that great I'd still want to play it hehe.
